Greater Los Angeles. The Peninsula Hotels’ annual Trees of Hope fundraising campaign is now in its 12th year across all hotels and has raised more than US$ 1.5 million since its launch in Hong Kong in 2003.
This year, the Trees of Hope fundraising initiative takes on a designer makeover. The Peninsula’s lovable holiday ambassador SnowPage returns for 2015 – but this time in an inventive new guise. Luxury toy brand Papinee has exclusively designed and created 10 limited edition Peninsula SnowPage plush toys representing each Peninsula destination around the world. Inspired by envy-inducing weather, The Peninsula Beverly Hills SnowPage by Papinee features the jovial snowman with his signature Peninsula pageboy cap, decked out in sunglasses and wearing a richly patterned and embroidered jacket reminiscent of the hotel’s own rooftop pool.
Priced at US$ 75 each, the desirable SnowPage gift boxes include the chance to win surprise seasonal gifts with proceeds to benefit Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles. Hidden inside some of the boxes are “Golden Tickets” for memorable Peninsula experiences for all the family. Lucky guests have the chance to win the grand prize of a two-night stay in a Junior Suite including daily breakfast and a delectable dinner at the newly renovated Belvedere for four people. Nine “silver” prizes will feature dinner for four at The Belvedere and 10 “bronze” prizes invite guests to experience Afternoon Tea for four set in the hotel’s sumptuous Living Room.
The limited edition SnowPage toy by Papinee and the classic SnowPage glass tree ornament will be available for purchase at a special bundled price of US$ 90 from the holiday concierge desk located in the lobby and gift shop. The custom crafted ornament is priced individually at US$ 20.
To take the 2015 holiday season to the next level, The Peninsula Beverly Hills
will begin the festivities on December 1 with the flipping of the switch to illuminate the hotel’s façade with sparkling lights and festive décor. Throughout the season, visiting guests will be greeted in the lobby with a cup of complimentary hot apple cider garnished with cinnamon sticks.
Exciting festive experiences for the whole family will be offered throughout the month of December including Festive Afternoon Tea, cocktails, dining, live musical entertainment, and private celebrations to ring in the New Year.
