FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LOS ANGELES, CA, February 7, 2017 – Skateboard pro and TV star Rob Dyrdek and his wife Bryiana Dyrdek will participate in the Make-A-Wish® Greater Los Angeles 10th Annual Walk for Wishes on April 22, it was announced today by Neal Aton, President and CEO, Make-A-Wish Greater Los Angeles.
The Dyrdeks’ special connection to Make-A-Wish is rooted in Bryiana’s experience as a Wish Kid. As a child, Bryiana wasn’t expected to survive a serious blood disease, but her wish to go to Hawaii and swim with the dolphins had a positive impacton her recovery. Thanks to the life-changing impact of Bryiana’s wish, the Dyrdeks are committed to helping Make-A-Wish grant more wishes by walking and raising funds with their own team, “Iconic Beauty.”
“We are thrilled to have Rob and Bryiana as ambassadors of our 10th Annual Walk for Wishes,” says Aton. “Bryiana is a shining example of the impact a wish can have on a child’s life, spirit and recovery. And Rob has become a favorite wish granter, as many kids wish to spend time with him. We are so very honored to have them both in our Make-A-Wish family. Rob and Bryiana, thank you for the hope and strength you bring to our kids.”
Rob Dyrdek is a professional skateboarder, actor, entrepreneur, producer and reality TV star. He is best known for his roles in the reality shows Rob and Big, Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory and Ridiculousness.
