- Wish Child Alan to his police officer partner

Only one week after completing three years of vigorous treatment, Alan got his wish to be both a police officer and a fireman.

Needless to say, it was a day of celebration….and crime!

With double the training, the two forces predicted Alan would go into arson investigation “when he grows up.”

Like a joint title, the fire and police departments came together to create a siren-filled adventure. The cops-and-robbers caper attracted tons of this press for the junior officer who ultimately found the “bad guy” and saved the day!

Read about it in detail as reported in the Long-Beach Press Telegram.

Other news clippings about Alan's wish:
I’m so proud of him. He’s thinking about helping other people, about how to be a good man. ”
